In response to the growing market for marine omega 3 EPA and DHA fatty acids, the board of directors at Pronova Biocare, Lysaker, Norway, has ap­proved an expansion of the company’s facilities, with the major investment being in the Alesund, Norway plant. The first batches will be produced in January next year and full capacity is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2004.
